The Challenge:
AVEKA was approached by a customer to help formulate and produce a liquid slurry with various ingredients for use an environmental application. The process involved the incorporation of dry powder raw materials into a colloid according to a precise recipe. This required liquefying, dispersion processing, pH adjustment and packaging into various sized packaging depending on the order size.
AVEKA Solution:
AVEKA employed its liquefying, liquid handling and dispersion processing expertise coupled with a strong analytical capability in order to achieve a satisfactory product. Quality testing throughout the liquid batching was essential in determining when the blend was homogeneous and at the ideal pH. This project began as a lab-scale R&D project and then progressed into a recurring production scale project.
